Testimony
I had a stable and moral upbringing in a secure family. At age 22, in the midst of an abusive marriage relationship, I found the Savior of my life, Jesus Christ. Through many trying years, God never failed to show His grace in love and provision—teaching me to love and trust Him with my whole heart, no matter the situation. I would never want to relive those years, but, I wouldn't trade them for anything...God used those years to reveal Himself to my daughters and myself in a way only those years could provide. His ways are higher than my ways...even in hardship and divorce. After many years, God gifted me with a constant reminder of Himself in putting a godly man in my life—a consistent reminder of unconditional love. It is our purpose to live our lives loving, serving, and reflecting Jesus Christ for His honor and glory wherever He calls us. Who I am
I love being the mother of two amazing daughters and just as amazing sons-in-law, the grandmother of about a dozen, and married to the most gracious, godly man on earth! I love a challenge—I started nursing school at age 40 when others said I couldn't! I love being active—Camping, hiking, biking, and canoeing. My husband and I organized pickle ball in our community, creating inter-generational fellowship and promoting healthier lifestyles, for all ages and abilities. I love being a part of what counts:
